TB1 - 1930

These instruments were originally tenor or plectrum banjos. Predominantly, we supply the five-string conversion necks and repair of the original paint along with the refinish of the resonator. We use special technology when the bindings are intentionally "distressed" and the final finish doesn´t look brand new and shiny. Inlays are cut according to original blueprint patterns showing imperfections typical for factory manual work. We usually mount modern tuning pegs for comfortable precision tuning but the buttons are distressed in order to preserve the vintage look of the instrument.
